Highlights:

- Gojyo, Goku and himself are really useless members of society
- They all seem to depend on Sanzo economically
- Apparently, he's always the driver (and that car isn't Sanzo's)
- Financially conscious...

Cost/benefit is now a real value for Hakkai. Dealing with people as they are regardless of his thoughts on the matter and without acting on his judgement too hard IS THIS TRUE RESPECT? And so many other things.

O-Oh I lost my writeup for this memory haha. I'M CLEARLY IN DENIAL

Highlights:

- He was a teacher (possibly for small children?)
- He lived with Kanan. She liked his hands
- She was an orphan too
- Kanan was sacrificed for the sake of other people
- He killed *everyone* who was there. Also, how he did it
- What it's like for him to get really angry

Highlights:

- Teaching primer! "They usually learn faster if it's something they have an interest in."
- Being called Hakkai, Goku's name, Gojyo's name
- Sanzo is his supervisor, feeling indebted to him
- ... Charging Sanzo for unrelated damages
- Gojyo got hurt, sounds like there was a fight?
- "We're mutually tainted objects," taking it naturally
- Finding symbolic meaning in what Goku said

This was a good memory for him- he feels lighter after this. He's assuming this took place not too long after being judged for his sins because of his conversation with Sanzo.

And! Bonus thoughts on what I've been doing with him in Aather. This was written before he got this memory, though.

What he remembers: ... Everything in those pages.

Highlights:

- Sanzo is a monk. Sanzo's name: Genjo Sanzo.
- His loved one was sacrificed for the sake of other people
- He killed (many? all of?) said people for revenge
- He tore out his own eye to be "equal" with someone whose family was killed by him. This person had his brother's eyes in a jar.
- The resolution to carry on bearing the weight of his actions, choosing to atone by living on
- He was judged for his sins. His own name: Cho Gonou.
